The handles of all brushes are made from Birch, which is categorized as sustainable. The ferrule is recyclable aluminum. Most of our brushes use goat or pony hair or a combination of both. The mane or tail is shaved from the animals to acquire the hair quality. No animal is ever harmed or killed for their hair. The other brushes used for “wet” products are synthetic.
